Weird. The wife and I were just talking about him after we realized that one of his sons is the dad on Wizards of Waverly Place on Disney.

Now he'll be saving that lady's dog in heaven.

What, I have 2 young girls. I know way too much about what's on Disney and all the 290-305ish channels on DTV.

I knew his son was the dad on that show.

I never bothered to pay attention until his voice sounded familiar this weekend and we looked it up. Kinda like Dick Van Dyke's kid - unmistakeable.

Damn, he was still alive? Sad news all the same.

I loved the Cannonball Run movies. RIP.

Ok, I have confirmed that Paul Prudhomme is still alive, so that means that Dom DeLuise has indeed passed.

I'll always remember him as the fat cat from "An American Tale".
