For Those Starved for College Football News

I got a chance to interview Phil Steele last night. Phil writes a 328 page preseason magazine each year and has forgot more football than I know. We got to talk to him for 40 minutes, so if you are starved for college football news, Phil will fill you up!

Anyone else click on this thread and say a prayer that the BCS Bowl system was finally nixed and a playoff system was approved?

How disappointing. :)

I like Phil. His predictions for the Miners this season are way more optimistic than anyone elses... :)

I keep watching for the college football magazines to hit the stands...

Your favorite college football blogger just got a mention on ESPN.com today…It is an insider article

Here is the link…

Bruce Feldman: Violations getting trickier to avoid - ESPN

If you don’t have ESPN insider here is what was said…

• The term "must-read" gets thrown around way too much these days, but in the case of the Phil Steele College Football Preview guide, I think it's apt. For any college football fan, it's a must have. Recently, the preview guru guy spoke with Brian Sakowski for a podcast that's worth a listen.

Not I. I'm fine with the current system.

More importantly, Sak, what does Phil think about D2? How could you possibly pass up an opportunity to ask him about Seton Hill??????

Seton Hill sucks. Bloomsburg owns PA.

(Okay, so I might be a Husky alum.)

UNO has a club football team now. I will not rest until I see an elaborate preseason writeup on the Midwestern Club Football Conference. Go Privateers! Beat Xavier, Miami-Ohio, and SIU-Edwardsville!!!
