Multi-Team Management?

Is it possible to manage more than one team at a time in FOF2007? If so, how is this done? Thanks.

No.

If you set it up in multiplayer you can.

Is that all I have to do, just select multiplayer? Is it then possible to run a few teams and have the computer run the rest? Thanks again!

Yes, but you need to do each turn individually, export each, copy each over to the import folder, then open as commish, import, and run the sim. It can be done, it's just not easy.

I do that for a testing league that I have, I have 3 different teams setup and I use them for various types of testing. So if you're unfamiliar with the multiplayer setup you can read about that in the game guide, or help file and post any questions you have here, it's a bit of a pain but if you get the hang of it, it can be done.

What Greg said! =)

I have a testing league set up that way. I'll go through each team and set up offensive / defensive game plans, export for each and then run sims.

I've never done it just to control a couple of teams and let the computer control the rest.

Thanks guys for all your help. It sounds complicated, so I may just stick with one team.

It's somewhat feasible for the regular season, because you can change game plans and depth charts from just the commish login. If you wanted to sign players yourself due to injuries, though, you'd have to login as each team, create exports, move them to the import folder, then login as commish and import them.

For the offseason, it would be a complete royal pain, because you'd need to do that process for every single stage.
