Connecticut Casino Poker Rooms

Didn't really see this talked about in any thread, and doesn't look like we have a general poker thread (outside of WSOP) that I could lob this one into...

What's the verdict on the poker rooms at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods? Which is better in terms of comfort, quality of player, available games, etc? I'm working up in Connecticut for the next couple weeks and figured I'd head there for a few hours Tuesday and maybe again next Thursday. Won't be any long sessions since I'll need to be back at my hotel by maybe 12 at the latest.

I'd be playing $1/$2 NL and buying in with a couple hundred...thanks boys.

Hey.

Last time I was in CT Mohegan Sun didn't have a room.

As for Foxwoods I used to go alot, but a long time ago. Last time I was there was about 5 years. The room is huge but gets crowded, although on a weeknight you should be good. The NL games were really soft.

Not sure what else I can say. It's a great room and the whole facility is amazing, worth the trip for sure.

Foxwoods is larger and tends to have more games. I don't play in the 1/2 games but I've heard there (very generally) tends to be more action at FW than Mohegan. Mohegan is smaller but much nicer and generally better run. They tend to have mostly 1/2 tables and little else.

I'd lean towards Mohegan, but you may as well just stick to whichever one is closer to your hotel.
