Yes, that was a GREAT catch. I love Buehrle.. couldn't be more happy for him... well, unless he was a Cardinal. :)

And I missed it, because this was the one time in FOFC history that an MLB pitcher made it out of the fourth inning with a no-hitter without somebody starting a thread about it.

It's about the only thing worth a damn anybody on mine did today.

My friend, a die hard Sox fan, and I were having dinner yesterday and we were talking about Buehrle and he was mentioning how he feels like Buerhle needed a 20 game season somewhere in there to truly cement just how good he is. I have a feeling this game makes a pretty clear statement.

I looked up the catch on youtube. Great catch. I also love the comments on a youtube video like that.

XXX: "Why are you all so excited about this catch? I've seen better. This was nothing."

YYY: "This catch saved a perfect game you fucking moran. Fuck you. Are U living undre a fuckin rock. U r so fucking stoopid."

YouTube comments are some kind of bizarre land of the dumb and angry. They absolutely amaze me, and almost never in a good way.

And the FOFC hadn't proved that to you already?

I think that in terms of non-sociopathic human interactions, I put it something like this:

real world > some of internet > FOFC > most of internet > youtube comments

Judicious use of the ignore feature helps a lot, too. (Although it can't be too judicious because I am clearly still reading your posts :) )
