OOTP X Demo? Ever?
 

Please? Anyone know anything? Last I heard was beginning of July. I guess I must be the only one waiting on one and they just don't care anymore.

There's a demo. Several of them. It's called OOTP 7, OOTP 8, OOTP 9...

(Yes I know, 2005-2007, but :P)

lol - speaking of OOTP - I got so fed-up with Strategy First not hosting the patch for the game they were given 3 weeks ago by Markus that I emailed them over the weekend and said "refund my money and deactivate my license. you suck."

lo and behold they put the patch up online on Monday...lol.

i'd rather buy from Markus at this point though

So, no one knows anything about an OOTP X demo then? They stated earlier there would be on in early July. I require a demo before I purchase this game, so I'm keenly interested.

I haven't heard anything about a timeline for the demo. From what I can tell not much has gone on the past 2-3 weeks as I guess alot of Germany takes off that month for vacation or something. I assume work on the next patch will start in the upcoming weeks, and perhaps we'll hear more about a demo then.

I guess the demo did come out earlier then I figured. It seems to be out now:

Sigh.

Can't find any mirrors for this download and after 5 hours and 18 minutes I'm at 47%. FML

The download crashed and I had to start over, but it seems faster tonight.

wow the demo goes slow...
