"Name That Song" Help

Ok guys, I'm trying to help out a co-worker..

There is a song played on the local top 40's station where a part of what I think is the chorus has:

"Welcome to the World" <-- for sure
"Welcome to the Future" <-- I believe this is the next line

This is a balladish/emoish song, not this Kevin Rudolf song I keep coming up with when I search Google.

Anyone know what song this is?

I was thinking Crash Test Dummies

I thought he was referring to the Married With Children episode where Al can't remember the song and keeps going "Hmm Hmm Himmmmmmm"

A lot of people think the name of that song is "Go With Him". But it's not.

All I wanted was a .45. A stinking .45. The record or the gun.

okay, name this one

back in the late 80s to early to mid-90s there was a one hit pop song. I don't remember much about it, except the song sampled a dance instruction record (similar to what the Beastie Boys did on "Body Movin'"). I don't remember anything about the song itself, but I remember the dance lesson sample was something like "step to the left...aroound". I've been trying to track the name of this one for years

Might I recommend you to recommend yes.com to them in the future. If they sort of remember the time it was played and the station, they should be able to figure it out. Always loved using this site!

Not having seen the episode you guys are talking about, but wouldn't a lot of people think the title of the song is "Go To Him"?
