When?

Will the ringing go away?

I am getting old!!!

Just came back from a concert (first one in several years) and wow are my ears ringing. Had a great time at least.

Halestorm - Never saw them before and they freaking rock. The singer is hot and she can sing. The drummer is freaking amazing.

Chevelle - sucked

Shinedown - Very good, they needed to play longer though.

Staind - Good, by then we were tired and needed to get away from the mosh pit area so we watched that from the back.

I saw Muse a couple of years ago and during a guitar solo near the end of the concert he hit this high note and I could feel it just kill my eardrum. It was ringing for about a week afterwards just because of that one note.

I had started to when I was used to go to concerts but I incorrectly thought this wasn't going to be as loud since it was a small outdoor venue. Boy was I wrong.

Sitting through meetings this morning has been hell as the ears are still ringing away.

I've never understood why they insist on utterly blasting people's ears. The collective ear damage this country incurs from concerts would probably be pretty staggering if there was a good way to measure it.

I agree. I like it loud but make it loud without being painful. I don't understand the desire to make it that extreme.

"If it's too loud, your too old."

"But too young to know the difference between 'your' and 'you're'."
