My Mom: Genius.
 

Mom called at 2am (she needs a job) to tell me what she had just seen on TV. She said she came across a show called "Reno 911." She then starts describing it as if it was an episode of COPS. She honestly thought it was real.

Wait until I tell my sister. :lol:

She even said that "this one cop was all done up in makeup... now you know she doesn't put makeup on like that when they don't have the cameras out there."

So mom. Are you telling me this is a real cop who goes on patrol, but they just have a camera crew there for the show?

And if my mom called me at 2 AM it would scare the hell out of me at first.

My mom bought me a Reno 911 t-shirt on a trip to Reno a year or so before I moved out here.

She gave it to me when she got home, my brother and I immediately busted up laughing, and she had no idea why. She, too, thought it was a "COPS" style show.

While not as bad as that, my Mom still thinks most of the reality shows are "real". She thinks those are their personalities and what goes on in their lives.
