Very, very underrated individual posters at FOFC

Albionmoonlight's thread got me thinking. Who are, in your mind, some of the most underrated individuals/historical posters at FOFC? I don't want to set too many limits on this, but I also don't want it to devolve into "the first guy to put colossal and squid together" or a list of your top 25 Hattrick players.

I submit Queue. Yes, he's only had 3 posts since 2004. But they were damn good posts! I can honestly say I would wait in line for Queue's posts.

gstelmack 09-22-2009 04:06 PM

Bubba Wheels gets a lot of hits for the way he posted and may have become infamous for it, but I think his actual place in history is the Maximum Football thread. All else is forgiven.

Flasch and flere will also be inextricably tied in the BF/RM/GF thread that launched flere's MS-Paint career.

This is akin to giving Archduke Ferdinand credit for the creation of the United Nations.

Poli 09-22-2009 04:17 PM

I don't have a list of top 25 hattrick players, but if I did I'd have to include sterlingice, dataking, raven hawk, targetpractice6, billy (?), -apoc-, brxnivy, and even coffee warlord. Honorable mention goes to me, since I managed the National Team rather ineffectively.

Schmidty 09-22-2009 04:22 PM

Maple Leafs. First one off the top of my head.

I like this answer. He has the best humor on this board.

Yeah, Sean cracks me up. And I think because his humor is so dry and not over-the-top, a lot of people don't give him his due.

Mustang 09-22-2009 04:28 PM

I'll probably get grief over this, but I'll say MBBF. Reminds me of the guy in your group of friends that everyone makes fun of, but if you needed to do something he'd be the first to volunteer. (Well, at least 78.65% of the time)

QuikSand 09-22-2009 04:31 PM

Good one. I totally agree.

Schmidty 09-22-2009 04:35 PM

Dola.

One of my personal favorites - revrew. He presents his faith in such an intelligent, non-aggressive way, that I've never seen anyone be aggressive or insulting toward him, even atheists.

You don't even remember the name of the Awkward thread?

DeToxRox 09-22-2009 04:43 PM

As much as I hate him, who doesn't love Karlifornia?

It's tough love.

Also underrated, duff88. Dude has the best dynasty ever with his EHM 2007 deal. And he's a good poster in the MMA threads, even if he's a dirty rotten GSP lover.

Logan 09-22-2009 04:50 PM

SportsDino seems to be the only poster on here who I actually learn something from when it comes to his understanding and method of communicating finance and economics.

And I'm a big fan of Radii...not sure why, just seems like a good dude.

Karlifornia 09-22-2009 05:07 PM

Critch and lighthousekeeper

MikeVic seems cool, too.

ColtCrazy 09-22-2009 05:10 PM

I do enjoy Radii's posts. During my short time in the online league, I really liked how kcchief and eaglesfan27 discussed things.

In general, the board is very underrated. I may read way more then I ever post, but I visit probably once a day because of the interesting discussions/links/humor.

Definitely have to agree here about SportsDino.

Gotta 2nd or 3rd Maple Leafs- tho, I think he's highly regarded by most. I also am a big fan of kcchief19 and don't think he gets his due.

You know, there are way too many to list and I'd definitely forget some.

SI

Izulde 09-22-2009 06:13 PM

I'd second the votes for revrew and SportsDino for the reasons already described.

Beyond that, it's hard to say. I'd 'have to think some more and I just woke up.

stevew 09-22-2009 06:30 PM

Kenparker23

I think that's his name. He's some sort of physician. He rarely posts but IIRC its usually way better than we deserve

claphamsa 09-22-2009 06:46 PM

me :D

Vince, Pt. II 09-22-2009 07:04 PM

Godzilla Blitz will probably always be my favorite poster of all time.

King of New York 09-22-2009 07:16 PM

Guest.

He doesn't actually post anything, but that guy is always there when you need him.

fantom1979 09-22-2009 07:16 PM

Ben E Lou is without a doubt the best poster here.

M GO BLUE!!! 09-22-2009 07:23 PM

Nothing makes me feel all snuggie-like comfortable like a post by Schmidty.

Kodos 09-22-2009 07:54 PM

What are you guys doing to my parody thread?!

Not sure, but if it gets any longer one or two Kleenex isn't going to be enough. Probably going to need the whole box.

is that cuz you're jacking off to it?

Noop 09-22-2009 08:29 PM

BYU 13 - Cool dude.

Kodos - I typically don't have an issue with him and if I remember correctly he might have been the only person I PM'd to apologize for my dumb comments.

DaddyTorgo - Cool dude. I am not a fan of him trying to change my mind on certain things but even for a Pats fan I don't mind him at all.

Shorty - Where ever he is...

I am sure I am missing a few more...

Noop 09-22-2009 08:32 PM

Cartman - Another cool guy.

TCY Junkie 09-22-2009 08:35 PM

Path12- the guy likes horse racing
Other people that like horse racing.
Quicksand likes horse racing but I think everyone knows him.
And everyone knows pumpy.
And I would have to say most know cartman.
Is there a list of people that are well known so it would makes things easier?

Groundhog 09-22-2009 09:47 PM

A lot of the people who are getting their names posted in this thread are far from underrated. I think most would agree that they are top shelf FOFC posters.

awww noop!! :D

i don't even recall what those things you're talking about are, but i sure hope i didn't offend. even in the heated-threads i try to stay pretty...calm

Kodos 09-22-2009 10:23 PM

Don't you have a GIF to show how you love me, Noop? :)

Cringer 09-22-2009 10:24 PM

My main problem with this thread is the word "individual" in the title. If there are posting teams I want in. I have a logo ready and everything.

stevew 09-22-2009 10:31 PM

Posting teams are banned. See Noble, Franklin and Cum, Capsi.

I think it would be hard for me to pick a few underrated posters. Seems like a lot of the mentioned people are highly regarded, but if you don't mention them they'll be forgotten. ;)

I thought of picking someone different, but decided GB counted because he is hardly around anymore, if at all.

yeah, you're probably right. He's a good guy, you might not want to hang out with him every weekend. But if you needed to move into a new apartment he'd be the one friend that wouldn't bail on you on moving day.

This is like getting a blow job by a wife you've been married to for a decade....it's nice, but it doesn't really thrill me like it used to.

Chief Rum 09-23-2009 01:01 AM
