iPhone 3GS - pros and cons?
 

Broke down and just upgraded my BB Curve to the 16GB 3GS. Pretty excited and can't wait to play with it.

My company has a $25 data plan so the additional premium is relatively minor.

For those that have an iPhone 3GS ...

• what do I have to look forward (or not) to?
• what are the must have apps?
• what case/belt holster do you have/recommend?

the battery drains pretty fast on 3g. edge is often fast enough if you are worried about the battery

ive gone caseless and have been fine. but most people think im nuts

apps: shazam (tells you what song is playing right now in the bar/car etc), yelp, around me, fandango, mywireless (lets you view your mins and pay bill and such), and of course facebook/echofon if you twitter or any of that. those are all free

the phone is freaking amazing. welcome!

Got it Fri, got email working and plenty more exploration to come. Next up is transferring my mp3s, and entering my contacts before playing around with the apps.

Looking good so far, pretty sweet.

I wish it wasn't so glossy/slippery, have to get some sort of protective case for it. A tad on the heavy side.
