2038 Summer/Ticket Stage Complete (check out RB Donny Bradford!)

Bradford has *6* red combines. Yowza.

Hahaha, the year that I am willing to finally spend BIG dosh on a RB...and here he is. Boy oh boy, wouldn't surprise me if some owners get scared from offering thinking they would never sign him and then Reno signs him to a 3 year $10 mil deal :D

Yoda 11-10-2009 06:59 AM

I already have a couple of stud RB's.... maybe a 3rd wouldn't hurt.... lol

QuikSand 11-10-2009 08:13 AM

Meh, it might be time for me to step down from this league. I like it in concept, but this makes two straight seasons where I plain forgot to extend a very important guy and let him walk in his prime. I am increasingly finding myself missing a day or two in the FOF world, and in other leagues that's not a big deal, here it can upend the whole franchise.

In other words, doublefuckfuck.

QuikSand 11-10-2009 08:16 AM

...and now I seem to be getting an error message on the upload screen. My file is there, but listed as attached to another team (?) and there's an error script on the upload section. FYI

Bako 11-10-2009 08:18 AM

After 5 seasons of wild spending, it has finally caught up to me. As much as I would love to go after that back, this offseason we will just have to sift through the 2nd hand items.

There are a couple of things going on here, all caused by me that I'm trying to resolve.

1. When trying to help ben with something, I accidentally advanced an extra day yesterday. LS had to come in and clean it up, but some folks had already uploaded files. LS moved those to the correct stage, but now there's a little warning catch of "The number of files on the server do not match the number of files in the database". This is because there is a count in the database that tells how many files have been uploaded. It still remembers the incorrect ones from yesterday.

The Point: This error is fine. If you see your file there, there is no issue.

2. I ran dbupdater with my WOOF city names loaded. I SHOULD be able to just overwrite this, but it won't. I'm trying to figure out why. In the meantime, just be sure that your team number matches.

#2 has been fixed.

wade moore 11-10-2009 08:46 AM

#1 fixed.

Thanks for reporting these quickly guys. That warning worked exactly as intended. Had to clean up some stuff from the actions yesterday as I mentioned.

And the DE in front of him on the draft list has 5 (no position drill for DEs) but is a red flag...

wade moore 11-10-2009 08:53 AM

Ok.. appear to have caused new problems.

000 and 007 right now are not in the right place - but it's not your fault.

Looking at it now.

wade moore 11-10-2009 09:00 AM

Ok, this is my fault - AGAIN.

After fixing my problems with dbupdater, I'm running it, but since it's playing catchup it thinks it's 2037 right now. As soon as dbupdater is done running, this will all get fixed. If you have a file uploaded already, we'll make sure it is in the right place.

I am 007 DAL. I see that my upload for today is in for Mondays file.

I tried to upload again and it send it to the same place. I will wait a bit before trying again. Hopefully it works, as I re-worked some contracts.

wade moore 11-10-2009 11:02 AM

All should be fixed - sorry. I totally screwed up when I was dbupdating, etc. Not the site's fault :(.

As of now, I've moved all of the files so we should be good. I have the following for this stage as of now:

You're not using the latest FCY file for FOWL. We renamed Greensboro to Carolina, and Carolina back to Charlotte. Also has the Steelers as Stealers. I'll bump the thread for you.

Bako 11-10-2009 12:13 PM

Thanks Wade for taking care of the problem.

Oopsie.

I'll fix that tomorrow - i do my dbupdating from work because my connection at home is VERY shaky.
