OOTP5: Crash Question
 

Has anybody been having problems with the stability of the game. I started my first serious dynasty tonight and whenever I try to sim a game it crashes on me. It also crashes any time I try to run the Top Prospects Report. Anyone lese experience these problems or have a suggestion as to what I can do?

That sounds like something is wrong with your league folder. I would suggest starting over, if that is possible.

In my career I crash once every two or three years, but that would be the extent of my crashing experience...

I just started the career so it won't be a big deal to start over I guess. I will give that a try. Thanks.

Primelord, I've played several careers for many years and never had a crash. What operating system are you using?

I used to crash multiple times per season in OOTP3 and 4, but am glad to say I have never had an OOTP5 crash. Strange.

I have the same problems as JeeberD, a crash every one or two seasons.

Have you tried to disable the sound options? Are your sound drivers updated? What DirectX version are you running?

If its the sound, I'm not sure why it would crash at the top prospects report, but if you drop me an email or a PM with more details about how you have setup the league I will try to help out.
