Can't get the file converter to work

I'm trying to use the file converter in the game to convert some of the roster files on here but I can;t find the file once it converts it. I can't see the file but when I rerun the converter the file is there but once I'm in FOF2007 I can't load the file cuz I can't see it
What am I doing wrong?

See the Vista FAQ. Unless you are using XP instead of Vista/Win7. Look for "Compatibility Files".
