Ok, there isn't enough love for this show, since it doesn't have it's own thread yet. If you haven't been watching this you need to start now. The show started off a little slow but now it's starting to really come into it's own.

I highly suggest anyone that hasn't checked it out yet find it on Hulu or NBC and catch up during the holidays, you will not be disappointed.

Make sure you watch till the very end they have some of the best credit reels of any show.

IMO it's funnier than The Office is nowadays (I can barely stand the Office currently) but not quite as good as Big Band Theory.

Agreed. The chemistry between Joel McHale and Chevy Chase is just awesome. Pierce has to be one of the best characters on TV right now.

I started watching it and then bailed after about 4-5 episodes. It was pretty good and had some potential, I just wasn't quite into it.

I totally disagree about it being funnier than The Office nowadays. Maybe funnier than the Office last season or the season before, but this season of The Office has taken the show back to its glory days. The show has really been on the top of its game this season. Awesome, awesome stuff.

Community is good but it ain't no Parks and Recreation.

Heh. The Greendale Human Being was brilliant and I love how he shows up every now and then.

I can't stand Michael Scott. The way they have made his character now is a complete parody of what he was, it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion every time he's on screen.

Chevy Chase has surprised me, I was worried he would be the weak one on the show, but in all actuality the weak one on the show is the girl that plays Britta.

We have every shade imaginable, from Seal to Seal's Teeth.

The girl that plays Annie is cute...

+1. The innocent thing works very well with her.

And I agree Britta is the weakest character. She is okay but kind of annoying. I love the Dean though, absolutely hilarious.

I have heard this before and while I agree that he is annoying and seems to do things that nobody in their right mind would do I would suggest rewatching seasons 1 and 2 and you were realize that he has always been this way. (Especially season 1 where he is off the charts silly)

Not saying that you should like his character at all but I really don't think it has changed all that much.

The most recent "Christmas" episode was good, all the characters practice different religions or none at all!

The rest of the cast is what makes the show nowadays.

Best new show of the year (I would normally have said "by far", but Modern Family is damned good too). It is absolutely hilarious! McHale (Jeff) is just brilliant as is Chevy Chase (Pierce). I also love Abed and Troy and their interactions.

The "rest of the cast" is what ALWAYS makes a show great.

For those that don't want to watch the show online, Dec 28th will have 2 hours of Community on NBC.

And lately Michael detracts from it. My wife has basically come to the conclusion that she will just not watch the parts with him in it any more.

FWIW I completely agree. I still watch The Office (though just barely). It's run out of ideas, and Michael is just annoying at this point.

I think one of the funniest things in the last couple episodes was Jim putting Ryan in his place (the closet).

Meh... the last few episodes of "The Office" have been some of the best of the series (the Christmas one this year was absolutely hilarious).

Different strokes, I suppose. I really don't agree that they've been anywhere near the best in the series. Seemed a lot like something I've seen before.

I started watching this show when it first aired, stuck with it for a few episodes but lost my interest. Maybe I'll check it out, see if it has picked up the pace a bit.

Gotta agree with Dobbs, Parks and Recreation is great.

Its funny and good, but its no Office. The Office isn't a pure comedy; its a dramedy, and a damn good one.

Community's quite good...actually the entire sequence of Community-Parks and Rec-The Office-30 Rock cannot be topped. And then during most of this past season I'd flip over to FX to catch Sunny and the League...Solid 3 hours of laughs right there.

I have absolutely no idea what's happening here.

I thought Community was very hit-or-miss until episode 6, when it all of the sudden became my second favorite show on tv - behind 30 Rock, but well ahead of anything The Office has done since season 2.

Strippers do nothing for me. I like a strong, salt of the Earth, self-possessed woman at the top of her field. Your Steffi Grafs, your Sheryl Swoopses, but I will take a free breakfast buffet anytime, anyplace.

I must be missing something with Parks and Recreation, I don't like it at all. The guy with the mustache makes it somewhat watchable but Amy Poehler ruins it for me, I liked her better on SNL.

But to stay on topic, I really enjoy Community and sadly The Office has moved down several notches although the episode where Andy and Dwight tried to out-thank each other was pretty solid.

The best line of Community so far came in an early episode with the Brit teacher. He tried to pick up Annie and said, "You're a seven. And seven is the English ten."

All four NBC shows plus Modern Family and Middle are most of what we watch these days. I'm surprised I like The Middle as much as I do. Brick makes the show. [whisper--makes the show]

Community is fantastic. Chevy Chase has been reborn on the show. Every character is fantastic and gets a chance to shine and go a little deeper on every show.

Thursday has been the highlight for my girlfriend and me...Community, Office and 30 Rock. Parks and Recreation is on, but eh. Just...well, it's good that it realized it should stop trying to be an exact carbon copy of The Office.

Really liked how the season ended, especially with how it was hinted at through most of the season.

The episode with the paintball wars was the best episode of any show I saw on TV this past season, just awesome work.

In my mind it really picked up here in the final 4-5 episodes, the show gained focus and really hit its stride.

My buddy and I were talking about this last night and said the exact same thing. That was the best episode of any show this season.

Still haven't seen the season finale. There was a tornado in the area last night and my DVR was filled with 20 minutes of weather coverage. For some reason it's not appearing on Prime Time On Demand yet even though 30 Rock from last night is. Weird.

+1 on the paintball episode. That was magic from beginning to end.

Paintball episode has replaced the episode of Arrested Development, where GOB builds Tinytown to impress the Japanese investors ("Because everyone knows they're squinters") and George Michael gets the jet pack by accident, as my favorite episode of anything ever.

Just an incredibly hilarious episode. When Senior Chang walks in wearing the suit with the paintball machine gun with the Chinese music in the background, I completely lost it (thankfully I could pause my DVR)

I dumped this show after about the 3rd episode. I liked it well enough, but ended up not watching it and it was just eating up space on my DVR.

I did catch the finale and thought it was pretty funny. I will likely circle back to it over the summer.

After seeing the love for the show in this thread, maybe I'll have to check it out. I saw the pilot and didn't find it funny, but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance or maybe I watched it on a bad day. Will try it again I suppose, while recovering from my surgery.

This and Glee are the only new shows I've been watching this season, I enjoy it quite a bit.

The entire season's up on Hulu right now for those wanting to check it out/catch up/bored. Also, Donald Glover (Troy)'s comedy troupe (Bro Rape, etc) is finally getting its movie Mystery Team released soon.

I think it took them a good while to find their flow. Plus, they were trying the Britta/Jeff thing when there wasn't much chemistry.

Ironically, the show ends up becoming very meta with many pop culture references, and it becomes quite self-referential at times - even poking fun at the slow start it had.
