The Blood Bowl: An interactive dynasty
 

I bought the Dark Elves version of Blood Bowl yesterday on Steam, and played my first game, against a skaven team, and I realized very quickly how much I completely and totally suck at this game. I think I started too many Catchers, for they really don't block well. :)

The skavens seemed to move in and out of my linemen's tackle zones at will, and wound up beating me 2-0. At that point, I realized I need some expert Blood Bowl help, and hense the creation of this dynasty.

I need people who want to be players in my upcoming game. Just list your name and what position you want to play. Each player, when they level, will be able to pick what skills they want to improve. Also, some strategy will help.

I'm going to be a human team. Post here if you'd like to participate with a name and the position.

Make me a thrower.

First skill == Accurate
second SKill == Kick, use me for kickoffs. Once you have Kick on the thrower always aim your kicks for the corner, 1 row and 1 column out from the actual corner. the accurate skill will normally keep the ball in bounds and force them to run all teh way back to their end to get it. giving you a lot more time to maneuver.

after that I'd have to look again.


tactics wise, never leave a gap in your lines. always force them to move directly next to one of your players whenever possible.

Also when moving your players that are not already in contact with the enemy, if they are weaker than your opponents player do not put them in contact, leave them 1 spaces away in any direction. This forces them to make dodge checks far more often and when they fail one you get your turn again.
