Coach Progressions
I noticed, and it was probably always there, but at the beginning of a new career the coaching talent out there is not quite as good as when you have been in a career for a longer length of time. You can eventually get to the point where you can hire a coach with excellent in every category where at the beginning of a career there is no one rated that high.
Which way is ideal and more like reality? |
That raises another question... Do coach's ratings improve?

Anecdotal, so grain of salt required, it seems younger coaches (late 30's, early 40's) can make good progress in a couple of seasons time. I'm probably one of few, but I always check my staff (including scout) for skill changes. Based on that, need and contract length, I decide whether to look out for a new staff member. |
