Okay guys here is the setup info i have so far. If you are interested shoot me a PM with your email address so that i can send invites. There will be a $10 entry fee. I have not figured a draft date yet but I was looking at Saturday night April 3rd. I will figure out the payout and how to handle payment this week.

If possible, I'd prefer earlier in the day if we do a weekend draft (weekend nights are usually busy for me)

I got the ESPN invite btw and signed up.

Once we get everyone in we can figure the best time for everyone. So far we have 4 people signed up.

Joined. It's been a while since I did NL only. What are the rules for when an NL player is traded to the AL?

Danny one of the leagues i am in says that you lose that player but get back the money you spent on him at the auction to use in your free agent budget and the other league i am in says that you get to hang on to him but cannot trade him. Once we have the league full we will have to determine what everyone wants.

Why $100?

$10 tarcone not $100. The payouts i am thinking will be 60%, 25% and 15%. This is if we get a full 12. If not the payouts could change.

Come on guys we have and I would like to have at least 10. The entry fee is $10 100% of which will go towards payouts. Ask your friends, family or just some dude you work with. Only two more players needed to get things rolling although 4 more would be great.

Seriously, this should be a great league. Auctions are a lot of fun and it's only $10.

We should have an official 10 by tonight or first thing in the morning. I will be sending out an email to everyone so that we can get the draft date set.

Okay guys i am just waiting for the last two to sign up. I am open for most any weeknight and good for most anytime on 3/28 or 4/2 possible 4/3. If everyone could weigh in on what works then we can get the date and time set.

If the Saturday date is not set in stone, I might be interested. I have another NL only auction league going on Friday night so, hard for me to commit to another time slot on a Saturday night.

I'd prefer 3/28.

My buddy who is also in the league says 4/3 would work as well (I'd be down for that day too)

Mustang which Friday is your draft?

Packerfan what time works better during the day, say start at 11, afternoon say 2pm or at later say 5pm?

We'd prefer evening (4pm/5pm CST)

I have a draft on April 2nd and March 30th

I think any of these days are ok for me.

4-2 is out. Daughter has a softball game.

Otherwise I think any other day looks good.

No the $100 is your free agent budget during the year. You can also bid $0 for free agents as well. You budget for acquiring players during the draft will be $260.

As for the draft date i am currently leaning towards 3/28 at 5pm CST. Please let me know if this just will not work for anyone. We now have 10 owners so if that is all we can get then we are set.

Okay if everyone would head over and vote on the ESPN site on the draft date i would appreciate it. This way we can get the date set asap. Currently we have 3/28 at 5pm or one day during the week 3/29-4/2. I would like to get the date wrapped up today so that if someone just cannot make it we can get a replacement. I know it will be hard to accommodate everyone but we will try our best.

FYI once the date is set I will give everyone the payment options which will be paypal or snail mail. It is only $10 so Paypal will definitely be the easiest.

Fine for me, any date on a Fri, Sat, Sun or Mon is fine with me.

Okay kids after going through all of the responses it looks like the best consensus we can come up with is 4/3 at 6pm. Hopefully that works for most everyone. I am sorry if it has not and realize for next year I will set the date in advance so that everyone knows upfront. If the time needs to be pushed back that is fine as I am around all night.

7 would be better for Saturday but i'll do my best.

That's fine. Unless no one else can make that then we will push the start time back.

Okay just a quick update on the draft time. We are going to push it back to 7pm CST unless that is a huge issue. I sent everyone an email with the Paypal info for your $10 payment. Please try to take care of this prior to the draft. I would hate someone to back out because they do not like their team.

Just an FYI - I got an e-mail saying it was set for 7PM EST, might want to check that if you mean for it to be 7PM CST.

Hey guys I just went in and noticed that someone must have dropped out or did not put in their email address. The team name is Team Wilson and with all of the people I invited I do not remember who this was. So we need another owner asap. I will not expect the $10 from them right away so call your friend and call your families. I will see if I can find a neighbor or friend to join as well.
