Soccer (youth) Question....
 

My boy recently tried out, and was selected, for a U-10 travelling team. The team is Atlantic United, and they play in the SJSL (South Jersey Soccer League). The league has 11 "flights" of teams, and United plays in the 3rd "flight".....

So, my question is....

What better....

Flight 1, or Flight 11 ?

Wondering if it is one of the better teams, or one of the not-better teams in the league. thanks in advance.....

Most likely 1 is best, 11 is worst.

I would imagine that sort of structure is unique to each league, your best bet is to probably contact the coach or commissioner.

i wanted to check with you guys first, in case it was something that was known to everyone but me....

Don't feel bad, I grew up in NJ and played traveling team my whole life and I had no idea.

Given that "Washington Twship Rec" is in Flights 8 and 9 and "South Jersey Elite" is in Flight 2, I stand by my statement.

My son plays on a 3-4 year old YMCA rec league. There is not a Flight Level high enough to gauge that mess.

Lol, I can imagine. I passed on signing my 3 year old this spring to protect my sanity.

In three years he may sign with USC.

I checked with the league, and Flight 1 has better teams than Flight 11...
