Screwed by HT cup seeding

So I join up last season. I am put in IV.25, a tough ass IV league. I have no chance. I play 3/4 of the season, and get auto-relegated. I loose 10% of my already slim fans (you don't win, you don't get fans).

I play the first 3 games of the cup season. They are all away matches. 2 VI and one V team I had to mots to beat. I really wanted the upcoming home match, as I =need= the $$. The home game, I would get, is the only reason I mot'd.

So, I sit up, and wait for the next match. I'm what? I'm away! WTF? Oh, must be a V team that was preseason 1, like me. I look. NOPE!

I get to play a IV team at their place! The git only has a 8,150 seat stadium!

So I had the privledge of taking it in the backside for 3/4 of a season, to get relegated & loose my fans, to play 3 away games in the cup, and get rewarded with this non-home game. This is all for the privledge of having been romped in IV as a new owner & auto relegated.

It seems the seedings are taken from the end of last season.

So pretty much, because of that, I just lost 4 notches of TS for the $10k or so I'll get from his piddly ass stadium.

This is crap. So here I am, a V team, playing away at a IV team, when the format is the lower team gets home field. This is crap.

I just played a div 3 opponent...it wasn't pleasant.

Well I get to host a Division 2 team if it makes you feel any better.

I was away to some dude who beat me 5-1. Ouch.

At least you're getting paid to get beat. I have to travel to a IV team to loose, so no home field $$. I'm a V team that has to play away at a IV team, come on, get outraged!

I only have a 7000 seat stadium...It's not like I'm rolling in the dough.

That's just back luck of the draw. I'd say I'll score a goal for you next week but I don't think I'll be scoring too many- I'm playing a team with only 3 players who get less than **~ including a couple of ***~ guys.

SI

I think the draw is made before promotions/relegations were made. Thus, you're still considered a IV team & if he's newly promoted, he's a div V.

It's still rotten luck, but I guess that's an explanation for it.

That's the kind of luck I wish I had. Either way it's more money than a frindly would be, and he only has to play a div. IV team. I'd take that anyday over the div. III team I have to face.

I managed to beat a D4 team in the last round. Now I get the "worst" team in D2.1, I'm suspecting a 9-0, 10-0, or 11-0 thrashing, since he gets on average 90+ ratings, and I could only get that with 2 1/2 games worth of work! My plan. . . send in the backups and hope no one gets hurt ;)
