Has there been any discussion about updating this board's software? I honestly have no idea who would do that although I'm gonna guess now that it would be Ben. :)

Pony up. Upgrading is not free. As far as I know you only get a year's worth of updates after your initial purchase.
Edit: $195 for 4.0, though the year's worth of updates might be a thing of the past now. |
How about the first 8 people to pony up $20 get exclusive mod rights?
 |
I'll be glad to contribute $20 to the cause. Ben, just tell me when/how.

I need to check with the powers that be at OS on this one.

I have been keen to upgrade the board software for a while, but we need to get the all clear from OS before we proceed.

It used to be something like $30 to sign up to another year of updates, and in the past that included major upgrades, like v2 to v3. We could also let the membership lapse, then sign up again for $30 the next time a major upgrade was released. It looks like it will be much more expensive to keep up to date with vbulletin now, unless it takes 10 years for v5 to be released. |
