The HUB?

Where the hell did this channel come from? Here are some of the shows coming on this channel in the next 24 hrs or so:

The Wonder Years
Doogie Howser MD
Happy Days
Family Ties
GI Joe
Transformers
Fraggle Rock

I mean seriously? This is awesome.

EagleFan 10-20-2010 08:41 PM

Never heard of it. What provider do you have?

MJ4H 10-20-2010 08:42 PM

Dish. It's channel 179. Just noticed it tonight.

PackerFanatic 10-20-2010 08:46 PM

Time Warner just got it as well. From what I heard, it started on 10/10/10 at 10AM. And yes, it is an amazing channel.

Thomkal 10-20-2010 08:46 PM

Channel 211 here with Time-Warner. They have it grouped with the Disney and other kids channels.

PackerFanatic 10-20-2010 08:48 PM

Dola, according to Wiki, it replaced Discovery Kids

The Hub (TV network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Lathum 10-20-2010 08:50 PM

Whoa, 121 here on Comcast.

Passacaglia 10-20-2010 08:53 PM

I was looking for it just last night, after Sak mentioned it on facebook. It was there, but it wanted me to upgrade to get it. Which DISH Network package do you have?

sovereignstar v2 10-20-2010 08:54 PM

Fuck yeah. My Little Pony is on Friday!

Eaglesfan27 10-20-2010 08:57 PM

294 on DirecTv.

Looks like I've got it. Cool channel.

Yep, finally found it on the dish site -- it's on the comparison guide, but not the lists for each package. Top 250 is required, and while it's cool, it's not worth $10 a month, esp since I have close to 90% of the Wonder Years on my laptop.

While I'm not much in the camp of those who worry themselves about stuff like this, I thought it was interesting to note that Hasbro apparently owns a 50% stake in the network

oh wow, this channel rocks.

Scarecrow 10-21-2010 02:05 AM

Prime Time LineUp
Wonder Years
Doogie Howser
Happy Days
Happy Days
Laverne & Shirley
Batman (the original Adam West version)

What's not to love?

stevew 10-21-2010 02:12 AM

just watched Family Ties for the first time in like 20 years.

Justine Bateman is still as hot as I remembered.

Butter 10-21-2010 06:24 AM

They have 2 original game shows which are all basically infomercials for Hasbro board games. They are also showing GI Joe, Transformers, and other shows with serious toy tie-ins.

My kids are all over this.

Inability to watch it if you have no cable.

Lathum 10-21-2010 10:47 AM

Fraggle Rock is still awesome!

Cuckoo 10-21-2010 02:03 PM

Would love to watch some old Wonder Years episodes again... Alas, I checked and the channel is not available for me (Directv).

spleen1015 10-21-2010 02:16 PM

Channel 294 on Directv

Isn't the other half owned by Oprah?
