I did one of these about seven years ago or so and I'm pretty sure there was another one after that but I thought it might be fun to bring back again. The concept is simple, pick a type of player you would wish to be and watch him throughout his college and NFL career.

Your player will be picked by selecting your position and if you wish, the state in which you reside. If you want to be a RB from Michigan, I will take the best running back in the state of Michigan and he will become your player for the rest of your career. If you want to be the #1 QB in the entire nation, you can be him as well. You can also add in other stipulations if you wish. You can say your player has to have a GPA over 3.5 or any else you can think of.


If you're player does not make it to the NFL you can restart with a brand new recruit.

The rest will be in 2012. Ten is the limit for one season. 2011 will be a quick season like 2010 is because most players will probably be redshirted so if you are a 2012 recruit you will only have to wait until Thursday or Friday.

Yup, if you wish to pick a name you can. Andrew Foley it is. If someone doesn't pick a name I'll just give them the name of the player they become.

If I may, I'd like to be Max Power, the top TE recruit from the Southeast. (thought I'd spice things up a bit and make you do some more work...lol. If it's too much work or you don't care to do it then surprise me...heh)

Alright, this thing is definitely going well so I am going to finish up the recruitment process tonight for the 2010 recruits so we can get more players involved.

10 recruits will be the limit for a season. That means we have two more spots open for 2011. Once we hit the number the next recruits will move to the 2012 class.
