....my flight leaves in 3 hours and my job interview is tomorrow in Denver. I am soooooo ready to work again and make some money. Over a year since I was laid off and came back to Idaho with no luck on the job market.

Here's to finally becoming gainfully employed. :)

Thanks for all the kind words and support. I thought the interview went well, and the entire trip was pretty seamless (no flight delays, no junky rental car, people were nice everywhere I went). My only gripe is why do I have to watch a 30 second commercial in order to use the wifi at the DIA? WTF?

Anyway, I should hear about this job sometime in the next week or two.

Most likely because those commercials are what is paying for the installation & upkeep of the wifi network.

Then it isn't really "free", is it? I have never come across that in an airport before....

So...

Pretty disappointed to find out that I didn't get the job. I thought with them flying me out there and all, I was a top choice but apparently not.

Yeah....this sucks though. I am tired of not working and this is a terrible time in our country to be looking for work. I am feeling the stress.................

Man, sorry to hear it didn't work out. Surprised they didn't hire you after paying to fly you in. Could have been worse if they would have told you after the interview that you weren't going to work out and you needed to find your own way home.

Well, in a weird turn of events my wife has a teaching interview so she and I will be traveling down there in a couple of weeks to check things out some more. Now if I could just get some more interviews.
