QB/RB Draft thoughts

Hi all

First time posting...

So I have 2 top 5 picks and looking for some ideas within a MP league.

On the roster already
1) 7 yr RB at Pro-Bowl level (80s) - so far no trade interest.
2) middling QB(50s) - a few have potential, but are not Pro Bowlers
3) Two young 60s-ish WRs

The rest of the team needs to be revamped completely.

Upcoming draft has

One QB with a 35+ Sol., 99 Vol., 90+ Pos. Drill, and 70+ Int - top end bars and combine. VOver. The 17% dev. and 99 vol. scares the crap out of me -- with a top 5 pick.

One RB has absolutely has threw the roof bars in any single area. No combine - of course. 34 Pos. Drill, 35 Sol. As scouted

Before I completely waste my picks I'm curious if you guys have

a) take advantage of 2 RBs - until I can trade the vet RB
b) take a chance on a monster QB with 99 vol.

If the rest of the team needs to be revamped completely, how do the top defensive players look in the draft? A stud Corner or Safety would be a good pick, and if possible, two stud Corners/Safeties would be even better. I would almost certainly go defense if there are any no brainers available in the secondary, or even a super stud DT or DE. Your offensive skill positions look solid at the moment, IMO.

QB+WR+WR is what wins games, not DLs or DBs as great as they are. Don't chicken out on the volatility score if you can get a stud QB for the next 15 seasons for your team.

My thought process is that a QB rated in the 50s with 2 60's rated WR and an 80 rated RB will be more than enough to win games. It doesn't matter how much O you have if your D can't stop anyone.

If that RB is clearly BPA, I wouldn't pass him up. Dump your 7th year RB for what you can. 2nd, 2nd next year, whatever it takes...and grab this guy. Then take a defensive player or something. Hard to say w/o more info but that QB sounds risky.
