Chinese Ghost City - real or fake
Dont think the video is embedding. Apparently, a whole city appeared after a rainstorm over a river. Is this an elaborate hoax? I have a hard time believing, if real, that it is simply a mirage.

I'm not really getting a clear understanding of a "before/after" type deal to really get a grasp on this.

Fakity fake fake.

I think its real and that the skin connecting our world to its mystical counter part has been split allowing magical forces into our world ....
(on the other hand perhaps its just a fake ;) :D ) |
A superior mirage occurs when the air below the line of sight is colder than that above. This is called a temperature inversion, since it does not represent the normal equilibrium temperature gradient of the atmosphere. Since in this case the light rays are bent down, the image appears above the true object, hence the name superior. They are in general less common than inferior mirages, but when they do occur they tend to be more stable, as cold air has no tendency to move up and warm air no tendency to move down. Superior images can be straight up or upside down, depending on the distance of the true object and the temperature gradient. Often the image appears as a distorted mixture of up and down parts. ![]() ![]() |
That's one of those "I have to see it to believe it" things.

I say they should shoot some video without a bunch of fog hiding the bottom part of the city.

I thought you were talking about huge empty cities but then I watched the video and think it is something different. There are a bunch of empty cities in China which is kind of interesting in itself.
