Question about Dog/s...
 

So...there's the little mini-dog, or I guess what's called a "toy" dog, who is super-de-duper popular right now. Whatever happened to the hundreds or so other dogs that have been running around for ages? Why is one particular type of dog considered "cute" if they are small enough to fit in your purse, but not the dozens of other dogs that are the same size? What's wrong with a full-size dog like a golden retriever, and why are some dogs so drooly?

If you ask me, Beagles and Labs are the bees knees.

FWIW, I'd like to keep this conversation civil and relatively cat free. I know, I know...I love cats, and cats are pets too. Still, please try.

I just got a golden doodle. He'll end up about 50 lbs., have qualitites of a golden, and not shed like a poodle. Win, Win for me.

As far as the drooling goes - it's a function of the loose skin around the mouth on those breeds of dogs.
