When Should The Zeroed Out: The Conference Edition Take Place?
 

So I'm going to be making a Zeroed Out: The Conference Edition dynasty. The only question is when and where to place it.

The options are:

1. Use the current Zeroed Out dynasty and just pick a conference to focus on
The biggest advantage here would be there's already an established, built up history. The disadvantage is that it becomes a radical departure from the macro-level chronicle style.

2. Start a new Zeroed Out dynasty and pick a conference from the initial 1948 setup
Biggest advantage is starting off with a fresh slate. But it's a bit of a dual-edged sword because 1) coaches are already pre-determined at the start of the game and 2) any early conference success is based on luck of the draw, rather than shrewd hiring/recruiting decisions.

3. Start a new Zeroed Out dynasty and go 5-10 years ahead before picking a conference, whether established or new.
This is the option I'm leaning towards. There will still be some macro level stuff, such as schools joining and conference movements, the head coach carousel, etc, but they will be much shorter snippets.
