So how about these kids knocking shit over in stores for fun?

I know it filled me with enough rage to start a thread here.. People need to start being parents and making their kids fear them, or at the very least respect them enough not to do this:

I've never wondered before whether there was such thing as justifiable assault.

Rizon 12-21-2011 01:06 PM

Kids like that need to be purged from Earth.

Subby 12-21-2011 01:09 PM

{Eagerly awaiting JiMGa's reaction...}

Autumn 12-21-2011 01:24 PM

So there's videos now of a&#hole kids. I think we all knew plenty of A&@hole kids when we were kids too. They were just less likely to get in trouble, since they didn't take videos of themselves.

Julio Riddols 12-21-2011 01:36 PM

I don't know.. I never even thought about doing something this asinine. Any retarded shit we did as kids was only going to hurt us if it hurt anyone, and it damn sure wasn't going to include criminal activity. My parents thankfully taught me to respect the fact that there would be consequences for my actions.

Drake 12-21-2011 01:40 PM

The only thing that would have made that video better would have been an overlay of that annoying "I want to be a millionaire" song.

Draft Dodger 12-21-2011 01:44 PM

losers

Warhammer 12-21-2011 01:47 PM

These kids need to get their ass whooped.

BYU 14 12-21-2011 01:51 PM

I would totally love to have one of these fuckers skateboard by me so I could clothesline them..........Of course doing so would get me sued by their delusional "My kid could not possibly be at fault" parents and ruin my life.

Subby 12-21-2011 02:01 PM

Where is John Pike when you REALLY need him?

cartman 12-21-2011 02:04 PM

Viddy horrorshow, my droogs.

heybrad 12-21-2011 02:04 PM

I'm just posting in here to tag this so that when it gets bumped a couple weeks from now when we hear they've been arrested, I'll be sure not to miss it.

Noop 12-21-2011 02:21 PM

Heh. Stupid kids. Funny thing is if one of them would have gotten hurt they would have sued the store and likely won.

Matthean 12-21-2011 02:22 PM

They should have been sent to the office/break room and cops been notified.

DanGarion 12-21-2011 02:28 PM

Taking "Jack Ass" to the next level. What do you expect it is just the next belligerent thing kids are doing to one up things they have seen "professionals" do.

sabotai 12-21-2011 02:28 PM

The description of the video says it was originally posted by someone named David Sylvestry. So I googled his name it gave me this twitter account: Twitter

Looks like a real winner...

I also found a few news stories about it

Unsurprisingly, they knew who the ringleader is. His Facebook page has been deleted, as if he thinks that will help.

Dutch 12-21-2011 02:38 PM

The beautiful part of all this is the more they share it with others, the more people they have to keep happy (so they don't decide to tell the cops)...and I just don't think that'll be possible in the long run. :)

Winner! :)

PackerFanatic 12-21-2011 03:19 PM

I could only imagine my wife's reaction if she saw one of these kids in a store. She would go ballistic (and it would be awesome to see)

Logan 12-21-2011 03:40 PM

This is like the JV version of a big local story of kids down in Wall, NJ filming themselves (and laughing like hyenas while) beating the shit out of a homeless guy.

EagleFan 12-21-2011 04:06 PM

Not even going to comment, if I start typing it I will just get pissed and no need for that right about now.

But I will say that if they were to vanish and never be heard from again it would only make the world a better place.

sovereignstar v2 12-21-2011 04:26 PM

yeah, what's up with rapists and murderers too? fuck that shit.

Anyone else find it a little odd that the article edited fuckin up supermarkets in the story, but left it unedited in the youtube link and FB capture. I imagine this is not a mainstream publication, but still amusing.

Toddzilla 12-21-2011 05:56 PM

One of the kids has been picked up by the police, and as usual in these cases, punk teens don't exactly keep their mouths shut, so expect the rest of the gang to be rounded up quick.

judicial clerk 12-21-2011 06:05 PM

I bet teens in Singapore don't pull this shit.

Something positive happening in Florida. Nice.

RainMaker 12-21-2011 06:23 PM

Not sure if this happens mroe now or not. I remember as a kid there were some high school kids who got drunk and went around smashing mailboxes and vandalizing things. They broke into a guys garage in the middle of the night and the guy came out. He was an ex-marine and beat the ever living shit out of one of the kids.

I remember it because the kids were on the local high school baseball team and the parents didn't want them to get kicked off. So they went with the kids to the home of each house they vandalized and made the kids apologize. And one of the kids had his jaw wired shut and was pretty fucked up.

edit: Kids do seem to be dumber though. "Lets post this under my name on the internet!".

molson 12-21-2011 06:23 PM

They'll probably be required to do some kind of community service and then they'll try to somehow ruin whatever organization they're supposed to help with their hilarious antics.

I think the parts about the vandalism and the stupid kids hasn't changed much (they just had fewer outlets for their stupidity back then), but the part about not getting their ass kicked is relatively new.

And I'm not somebody who thinks kids generally need to be beat up to learn a lesson. But some kids....maybe they do.

They're not any dumber.

They have greater and more immediate outlets for their stupidity.

Instead of fucking up for the whole neighborhood or the whole town to see, they can fuck up for the whole world to see.

The fundamental lack of impulse control is the same. "Hey, guys, watch this!" Same as it ever was.

this could very well be the golden age of tomfoolery.

NorvTurnerOverdrive 12-21-2011 07:38 PM

we used to play mailbox baseball, knock over trashcans and were generally just assholes as kids.

i don't think this was in our wheelhouse but i'm glad we didn't have video cameras back then.

Yeah, I never understood this. I never purposely messed with, broke, damaged or even disrespected others property when I was a kid.

I always think of tomfoolery as a bizarro version of Chuck Woolery.

I didn't really, but sometimes as I'm driving along I can feel the draw to cracking some of those mailboxes with a bat. It seems like it would be fun.

Bigsmooth 12-21-2011 11:48 PM

Send these kids to Second Mile. Yeah.

I think they've been watching too much of this...

A couple of punks kicked in the inflatable Santa on my front lawn last week. I heard an odd sound outside as I was getting my kids ready for bed and by the time I got to the front door to see what was going on I saw two teenagers running down the street. It took me a few minutes to realize what they had done to Santa and by that time they were gone. I was also home alone with the kids so running after them really wasn't an option.

At our old home, well out in the country, we went through a number of mail boxes. Then I talked to my father in-law, the welder and fabricator of many things metal. He shaped a 3/8" steel plate to fit the exact interior dimensions of our mail box.

It stood the test of time, and the exterior did receive a couple of small dents where someone attempted to get to it with a bat.

I just really hope they were driving by when they swung at it, cause MAN that would sting.

I always thought it would be cool if you could figure out a way to somehow rubberize your mailbox, so that a bat swing from a car would bounce back and potentially break the rear window.

I seem to remember a friend talking about how his dad, after enough of this, went to a concrete reinforced base for their mailbox

In this day and age you'd end up getting sued for damaging their car and any injuries they sustained.

RomaGoth 12-22-2011 02:36 PM

What I don't understand is why everyone is referring to these guys as kids. Seconds into the video I was wondering why a fucking 35 year old was riding a skateboard in a store.

A buddy of mine hit a fiberglass mailbox with a bat back in high school and it bounced back and split his head open.

Now these kids I like.

Pumpy Tudors 12-22-2011 03:50 PM

I hope nothing happens to these kids for about 15 years. Then, all of a sudden, someone will go up to them and light them on fire. And laugh. Hard.

I might be completely serious.
