OOTP 8 question
 

First off, sorry if this is the wrong forum, I don't play ootp 8 much and am not a member of their forum. 8 is the most recent version I have. I can do some searches but thought this way would be quicker.

I know there is somewhere a roster file exists so I can start in say, 1985, and have all the real players from the league in the game from that point on so I can draft say, Bonds or Sosa, and play the game from year X forward with real players.

Can anyone point me to that file or help me out? Thanks guys.

Didnt that version have the option to start a game from any year in history? At some point around that time they came with the Lahman database already included so it was a startup option.

That sounds somewhat familiar. I played it a lot more years ago.
