Unique FOF MP League (BFL) has openings.

I can guarantee you that the BFL (Balanced Football League) will play differently from any SP or MP FOF league you've ever experienced. It's designed that way. Here's how it's set up.
  • Uses well-tested custom draft classes (not FOF-generated ones) with QBs and WRs nerfed to radically change the balance of the game. Running/defense teams are routinely getting bye weeks, but things are balanced enough that passing teams can win, too. But overall, it's much more balanced than standard FOF MP. The overall talent level of the draft classes is identical to that of standard FOF draft classes, but the talent is distributed to different positions.
  • The custom draft classes also contain realistic player types such as 3rd-down RBs, cover corners, possession receivers, etc. Go here for more details.
  • Uses a utility to reduce all teams' salary caps to make free agency much more vibrant and interesting.
  • Moves at a brisk pace. We complete an entire offseason and season in roughly 6 1/2 weeks. A rebuilding project is much faster there than in most leagues.
  • Custom php reports, automated league headlines and league previews, and more.
Come join us.

This league comes highly recommended by me. It's very different from a typical league, between the cap reduction and the talent pool. It's actually possible to win with a wide variety of teams here, and it feels like you can really try new things. Come and check us out!

Might be interested in this down the road when A) I have more time, and B) I can get FOF to run again (does not start up on my vista machine).

Maybe I should switch from WOOF since folks seem interested in this league. But I'd probably just stop playing FOF if I left WOOF.

You know why I like this league? You can consistently draft a good receiver in the middle rounds of the draft.

"Good" being relative, of course. ;)

Well yeah, BFL good is not "other league" good, but as far as BFL goes, we've gotten him and Sexton in consecutive drafts. Both are excellent, both are 3rd rounders I believe.

One opening likely for next season. The Niners are coming open again.

PLEASE NOTE: We sim six games per week, but use a low injury setting. For many people, this means a small handful (maybe 3 or 4) of exports are needed per season. But if you are someone who thinks it's important to export for nearly every gameday sim, either take my advice that you don't need to do all those exports, or make sure that you can export six times per week before you join.
