Each team will be given $200 for the auction. This money does not carry over to the season so you should spend it all. Each team will be given $50 for waivers. This dollar amount can be utilized in trades. Waivers will work like this: In a Free Agents Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waivers system, each manager receives a dollar amount to place blind bids on waived players. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team's acquisition budget. If multiple managers place an equal bid on a player waiver claims will be processed in reverse order of standings and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list. Waiver period will last Sunday-Tuesday with final bids in by 11:59 PM EST. Prior to next season each team will be able to keep up to 3 players (1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR/TE). If a player is kept their salary will increase by $10 per year. (For example, you bid $50 for Chris Johnson and win the auction for him. If you keep him next year, his price would be $60. If he is kept for a second season in a row, his salary would be $70, etc.) A FA pickup can be used as a keeper for $11. If a player is kept for 3 seasons, that player will become a FA in year 4. |

In and signed up on yahoo as well
|
i'm in
|
There's no way I can make this draft and I don't believe in list drafting.
If you can replace me, it is probably a good idea. |

Yahoo forces you to pick a date/time when you register the league. Is there a date that works better? Most of the weekday times available are after 7PM EST as an FYI. |
Sunday evenings are the best time for me.
|
Barring injury I am fairly certain who my keepers will be.
|
I am in as well as Molly Murphy.
I can't believe I have Jordy Nelson and Antonio Brown both on my roster for $1 each |
In.
|
I don't really have shit for value. (TheGiantsSuck)
|
Bump for the remaining 5 to see again. Going to resend PM's and also open up a waitlist.
spleen1015 - anyway you can make it Sunday? |
Also, for those that responded please activate your team on yahoo as well.
|
Are we looking at noon Sunday?

I'm in, do we get to keep only 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR/TE, or can we go 1 Qb, 1 TE, 1 WR... or for that matter could I go 3 RB (not that I would just trying to strategize
|
Quote:
It is (1) QB, (1) RB and (1) WR/TE |
Quote:
Let's go Saturday night. Or we can do Friday night if we fill up on time which would give folks some time to plan. |
Quote:
Yea. It is looking like that has been good for everyone so far. |
I'm good with any time, and due to cost I'm not sure I'm going to have any keepas.
|
I'm good with any time as well, and my keeper list is likely to be just one guy. When do we need to have keepers submitted?
|
Quote:
I may be out unfortunately, but I will know hopefully within 24 hours. |
If any spots open up I'd be interested.
|
anytime sunday is fine
|
Quote:
I can make Sunday. You're taking my GW2 time though! |
Quote:
I should be good. |

You are in as I already know of one open spot. We still might have two more openings as Arles and McKorski have yet to respond. Please feel free to continue to mention if you would like to join as we may have openings. |
Quote:
Sounds good. What else you need from me to get set up? |
Are we posting keepers in the thread or PMing them?
|
Quote:
PM to me and I will post them all at once. |
Quote:
I'm putting out a last call for the current owners to respond. I'll give them until 5 PM EST and after that you can choose which one of the remaining teams you would like. If we can't get 14 owners, then we will just go with 12 teams (3 divisions of 4). I also need spleen, scoobz and doug to activate their yahoo teams. |
Sorry about not responding. I'm already in three other leagues and I don't think I'll have time for this one this year. Go ahead and replace me.
|
Sent you a PM but i would be interested in joining or sitting on the wait list of you have spots open
|
Might be a dumb ass question, but am I missing a link to the Yahoo page so I can join
|
i know who my keepers are but i'm gonna wait till the eleventh hour in the odd chance of injury
|

One clarification on the keeper rule. I can keep up to 3 players. Can it be 3 RBs or is it 1 QB, 1 RB, & 1 WR/TE? |

I'd be interested if there are any spots open.
|
Titustron, End Zone Gladiators and Party at Moon Tower are all available.
cmp, bhlloy and hahnkim - please post the team you would like to claim in this order. Also, please PM you email address so I can send you the league invite. |
I've also had some inquiries about allowing pre-season trades.
My thoughts are the players listed on your roster are all technically FA's unless you utilize your keeper (Franchise tag if you will). At that point, their salary hits your $200 cap number and you can trade them post draft. Since this has not come up in the previous season, we do not have a hard rule so I open it up to the league. Thoughts? |
I'm around, I'll wait for cmp to make his pick first
I'd also like clarification on the rule above, as it may affect at least one of the teams available in terms of flexibility. I'd be for allowing trading but I think that's something that is generally not allowed in keeper leagues. No strong opinions either way. |

Any keeper league I have been in trading in the off season is a key part. The point is to make it more like a dynasty you can build year to year. To Kings point I feel the exact opposite. I think everyone on your roster should be able to be traded UNTIL you select your keepers. At that point everyone you arent keeping then becomes a FA. |
Whatever the league decides is cool I will go along with.
|
I thought trades would be allowed up until the draft. So, obviously, I think they should be allowed.
Maybe put a condition in there that says all players involved in the trade have to be keepers or something. I've seen that rule for off season trades before. |
