Beastie Boys - Sabatoge.. Best Music Video Ever?
I'm sure it won't get a lot of other votes from fellow FOFC'ers, but that video is classic.. Cracks me up everytime I see it..
Any other opinions on Great Videos? |
Anything with Beavis and Butt-head giving a running commentary in the background. :D
|
A-Ha - Take On Me
|
Sabatoge is hysterical, but I'd have to say that Who Was In My Room Last Night by the Butthole Surfers was better.
|
chris isaak. wicked game.
|
Anti-American commies. Wouldn't give any product of their's a second look.

Both classics. I'd also like to nominate Sledgehammer, We're Not Gonna Take It, Money For Nothing, Fight for Your Right (severely dating myself). Oh, and Whip It :) With honorable mentions to anything by David Lee Roth, ZZ Top and Sir Mix-a-Lot  Smells like a new, ongoing Survivor Poll topic...... |

I believe it does as well, but I'll let the FOFC Survivor Folks get that idea rolling.. |
"Sabatoge" was great, as were other Spike Jonez videos like "Praise You" (community dance theater) and the dancing Christopher Walken.
"Thriller" has to get a vote. Weezer's had some good ones too. |
Weezer's "Buddy Holly" was awesome....
|
Weezer's Keep Fishin' is the best, but Sabotoge is pretty good too.

Daft Punk - Around the World
Fantastic video which involves groups of differently costumed people (spacemen, mummies, etc.) dancing. Is a lot cooler than it sounds. Daft Punk - Da Funk Another Jonze video, where a dog-man walks around the city with a boombox on his shoulder. Very absurd, but I loved it. Van Halen - Hot for Teacher 80's excess at it's best. Fantastic in all ways, and David Lee Roth is a pimp. Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be The video features many visual tricks and illusions. I'd especially recommend getting this one from Kazaa or something. An immensibly watchable video, and great song that samples a great Beatles tune. :) Tool - Sober Many Tool videos could be on this list. I don't like heavy, loud, music, but the videos they put out are fantastic. They use stop-animation (not unlike Claymation) to create dark images to go along with their songs. Agree with Money for Nothing, Buddy Holly, and Sabotage. Spike Jonze is amazing. I've loved all his videos and movies. |
Twisted Sister. "I Wanna Rock"
So Mr. Sister, What do you want to do with your life? |
Sledgehammer
You Might Think Virtual Insanity Thriller No Rain Money For Nothing (Yes, I'm an 80's child) :) |
For the most part, anything done by Weird Al (as a performer, not when he directed crap like Hanson).
|
The Madonna video where she rolls around wet on the beach (Cherish?) is pretty good too.

I liked her better with dark hair and the burgundy dress in that video in the church...ah crap, can't remember the name. You know, her controversial video ;) |
Like a Prayer. The one she turned into a Pepsi commercial. :)
