Graphic simulation?
Does anyone know of a program that you can use the game log, and it's simulates the game with some kind of graphics? I thought I saw one before but can't find it.

SOme leagues have the gamecenter that is used on the JDB database.
Here is a preseason game in House- vNFL House Database I know someone had one that worked pre patch but i am not sure now. |

HOLY SMOKES! Where can we get that? That would breathe new life into this game for me! |

Damn.. Jim needs to add that into his game. |
I think I would commit ritual suicide if I were forced to watch that for my FOF games.
Oh, it looks good on you though. |
That's why this game is dead.

It's not dead, it's just all about Multiplayer leagues.. |
I really think a text based sim wouldn't gain much from little 2D circles moving around on a field. Although that PHP thing is very, very cool. Just super sluggish, and less engaging than the Solevision itself, which is fantastic.
|
I don't see how this works realistically. It doesn't tell you enough about the other 8-9 players on the field during the play to correctly extrapolate an accurate visualization of the play.
|
What I wish, wish, oh so earnestly wish the game had is slightly larger font and slightly sharper play diagrams.
Several years ago I wrote to Solecismic and politely requested these upgrades, explaining that they would make the game vastly more friendly on my 50-year-old-plus eyes and thus actually playable again. I got a rather cold email back from someone [not Jim], stating that no graphic upgrades of any kind were being contemplated. I have FoF-The Fourth Edition, but have not played it in years. The graphics issues have kept me from buying the latest version, even though I have played the demo. Please. Larger font, sharper play diagrams. Please. |

Perhaps a larger monitor may be the way to go? |
Increasing DPI could be the way to go. 120 DPI makes everything just much more comfortable.
