I appreciate the game is a few years old now - but is it still worth buying as a new player?

I want to expand on this.

I starting playing FoF just before 2k7 came out. I never played single player and jumped right into multiplayer.

The number of leagues I am in is insane. But I still love this game. I have a team that is winning that is build on nothing but defense. Another is build around a 2-TE offense. Yet another is a more traditional QB-RB-WR offense and solid defense.... and multiplayer is where it is at.

As long as there is a multiplayer league for FoF, I am sure I'll be playing it.
