New GM-ONLY (No Game Planning) MP League - TWO OPENINGS ON THE GROUND FLOOR
 

I've thrown this idea around a few times in the past, but it seems to have gained some momentum lately, so I thought I'd post it to the larger forum here.

The idea is a multiplayer league where the AI controls the game planning. In essence, you are a "true" general manager - you leave how the game is played to the coach you hire.

That's the main idea. A lot of FOF fans love the roster building aspect of the game, but aren't strong at the game planning stage, so MP leagues are not stacked in their favor. Perhaps this will level the playing field.

There is still a lot to be decided, a commish needs to be found, etcetera, but I think it's an idea worth exploring.

A quick summary of the ideas so far, though nothing is set in stone:

WR nerfed league
Significant cap crunch
Elevated injuries (keeps it more interesting during the season)

(and yes, i see the irony posting a no game planning league on the same day jim launches his kickstarter for a game that is entirely about game planning)

I like the whole idea of GM league. Like to join, but I like if it was at least 3 games a week or more.

Rules Suggestion:

1. Nerf QB/WR
2. Lets use Cap Reduction like in BFL and CMFL Leagues
3. 4 game sims a week
4. Real or Fictional players is fine with me.
5. 25 round draft and then have the game pick the remaining.
6. Use the anti-tanking rule.
7. No trading 1st round picks (we can talk about this)
