IWS Rules

The rules are the same as previous FOFC "I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s most widely beloved, solemnly revered, and superhero-like founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Yes, that word "product" means that they will be multiplied together, not added. Highest score wins.

Collaboration of any kind is strictly forbidden. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants. Just don't be an asshat, and this should end well.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. The administrator's decisions are final and utterly inarguable, no exceptions.

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However, your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "What will happen if you do not submit an IWS 207 entry?" and you join 4 other misguided souls in answering "Nothing" then you get your 5 points even if the technically correct answer is "Hired Goons." You've been warned.

IWS #207 "Superheroes II: The Revenge!"

With all the superhero movies out there, it's surprising we've only had one IWS related to that and it was quite a long time ago. I'm not a huge comic book person but in exposure to other media, we should all be able to answer this one. I'm hoping it hits the sweet spot of IWS is one where no one has to look anything up but there aren't a lot of consensus answers that lead to a tie. And just to help give a helpful nudge on a couple of questions, Justice League (Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, etc) is DC while The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men are Marvel.

1. Some big bad guy is threatening earth. What group of heroes do you call? Avengers, X-Men, or Justice League?

2. Speaking of big bad guys, name a Marvel Universe villain (see intro if you need help with which is which).

3. And, while we're at it: name a DC Universe villain (see intro if you need help with which is which).

4. We all know stupid would pick Wolverine. Name another one of the X-Men.

5. Some superheroes are cooler than others. Who is the lamest superhero?

6. Name an actor or actress who is well known for playing a superhero on tv or in movies.
