Tennis In Sports Sims
 

Why hasn't there ever been a tennis game from Wolverine or Grey Dog or the like? I imagine it would be a fun game, what with how big tournaments are and all that.

Too small a market.

I suspect this is correct, which is really to bad, because it would be a really cool game I think.

Yeah, I've long wanted one but I just don't think there's much of a market for one without it being extremely engrossing. Maybe if it was setup where you could say, start with a really young prospect and decide to go the HS or circuit route, then decide when to go pro, etc.

Plus, I think it's a limited knowledge base thing. You'd need to know a fair amount about tennis and how it all works for it to immerse any tennisniks who say, aren't text sim players currently but would be interested in a game like this or text-sim nerds who could care less about tennis but like good text sims.

I have the knowledge, but still think it'd be a hard sell beyond anything other than a labour of love.

There was Tennis Elbow Manager.... (serious, a company who made the Tennis Elbow series of tennis games for PC made a manager sim version)

Yea there is Tennis Elbow Manager by Mana games.

Heard its pretty good and there is talks of another version.
