Historic League with a Rich Tradition has Openings

vNFL House League -- Where Legends of the Gridiron Go to Meet Their Alternate History of the Future

The vNFL House League is a league with historic players placed in teams and cities outside of the NFL. You'll see CFL and CFL America teams, AFL teams, and in some cases historic minor/major league baseball nicknames. The House League started in the year 1989 and is now beginning the 2015 season, so it's a league rich in history and tradition. The House runs 3 games a week in the regular season.

The House League uses historical players and draft files. Players are from the early days of the NFL up to today's modern players. Each draft brings a deep pool of talent into the league. Useful players can be found deep into the middle rounds of a draft. This also impacts the FA pool so that a team can become competitive quickly since there is such rich overall player talent. Examples of such players are:

Starting QB Danny White of last season's House Bowl winner was drafted at 2.32.

DE Clark Miller 64/64 drafted at 5.21.

RB Rashard Mendenhall 60/60 at 4.10.

WR Lydell Mitchell 58/58 at 3.13.

In recent months there has been a retirement of many long-time House owners so that multiple teams are available. Available teams with 2014 records and notable players are:

Montreal Alouettes. 4-12. Calvin Johnson, George Sauer. Montreal has been claimed.

Grand Rapids Rampage. 4-12. Tony Dorsett, Ron Jaworski.

British Columbia Lions. 6-10. Marty Schottenheimer, Lee Roy Selmon.

Edmonton Eskimos. 7-9. Brad van Pelt, Franco Harris.
