RIP: Lou Reed
 

One of the great singer/songwriters in rock has passed away at the age of 71.

Sad to hear that.

Weird, I just bought my first Velvet Underground album this past week.

Ugh.

An Icon, was just listening to "Perfect Day" this morning drinking my coffee.

RIP :(

If you're so moved... It appears the full audio of his live album "Rock N Roll Animal" is on YouTube. It would be a very fitting tribute to give it a listen. The first 20 minutes or so (Sweet Jane and Heroin) are just so brilliant.

Really sad day to lose an icon of Lou's status.
