QB Knee Injury Affects.... Arm?
1 Attachment(s)
This is Burt Carter. Until two seasons ago, he was the highest rated QB in the league. 82/82, with high scores across the board.
Unfortunately he tore his ACL, and the following season on a late year comeback he tore it again. In successive seasons at still a young age, Carter's overall went to 52/52 and 36/36, making him completely mediocre. That is fine. Injuries can derail careers. The problem I have, however, is that while his arm seems to be affected by his knee injuries the most, look at that scramble frequency! Apparently after two ACLs he's still running wild. |
Has his ypc come down as well? Maybe he still loves to run, just has to use a walker now.

Vick?

Scrambling frequency doesn't mean the QB is good at it. Just means he didn't let the injury affect his play style I would say.
I would think that a knee injury could affect how well the player can throw, especially two injuries. Not having the same leg strength to put behind a throw and also going all that time while injured without throwing. |
