This pool usually gets 40+ people in it - so it's worth throwing down an entry or two

Always a great pool, I think I won it a couple years back. I'll get my entry in here soon.

Yeah - I think I should be able to figure that one out ;)

Thank for letting me know!

Looking like we'll get that 40+ brackets in - Last I checked we're at 28 and we usually get a good push tonight into tomorrow morning.

Jas_lov 03-20-2014 06:45 AM

We have 44 entries as of 8:00 this morning... Maybe with the last minute brackets we'll get over 50!

Arles 03-20-2014 09:01 AM

Filled out mine and just sent the paypal. Thanks again!

britrock88 03-20-2014 10:20 AM

Looks like I signed up while just trying to poke around the group. That's how to trick me into giving you $10. :p

Chief Rum 03-20-2014 10:38 AM

Filled mine out. I probably took too many stupid risks. But, then, I'm stupid.

CleBrownsfan 03-20-2014 10:47 AM

We have 52! Good payout this year!

Lathum 03-21-2014 08:10 AM

tied for first with 14/16 thanks to some late combacks and OT wins. I have Duke winning that one, lets go Coach K!

They should mind their own business or another company will come in and steal their business that doesnt nose around where its not needed.

britrock88 03-24-2014 07:36 PM

Mine wasn't one of them! :p

CleBrownsfan 04-07-2014 10:38 AM

It's a first - this is over before the championship game is played. Congrats to Jon "Pantherfan75" for 1st ($382.50) and we have a tie for 2nd. So I guess technically it's isn't "over" because we'll use the final score of tonight's game to break 2nd place tie. Abed (local friend) and Suicane are tied. Abed has 158 total score and Suicane has 135. Good luck to the 2nd place finishers...

Thanks to all who participated/donated ;)

Did the transactions listed have March Madness or NCAA tournament in the subject line? I'm going to guess that's what set off the red flag.

Suicane75 04-07-2014 11:30 AM

Top 2 payout? What's 2nd get?

CleBrownsfan 04-07-2014 11:36 AM

Yeah, there was something wording in the description as NCAA Bracket or variants of that.

Suicane - yeah, just two payouts. And 2nd will get $127.50. I'd put money that you'll win this with UConn's D. I see this game being in the mid 60's - low 70's.

Suicane75 04-07-2014 11:56 AM

Glad I checked this out, I just assumed I had nothing to root for tonight, lol.

CleBrownsfan 04-07-2014 12:18 PM

:)

britrock88 04-07-2014 08:34 PM

I'm happy I played. Assume that you have to pick the national champion to win the pool. If that's so, KenPom gave me an 11 percent chance to win (as the sole Virginia picker) in a 50-player pool. My expected return was $41 on a $10 bet. I like it! ... But I should have cashed out.

Thanks for running this, CBf. :)

britrock88 04-07-2014 10:00 PM

Looking good, Suicane...
