Need some help naming a business........
Looking for a creative name for a new business for a friend of mine. Business will be hosting paranormal-focused events (includes ghosts, ufo's, and crypto). Hoping to find a name that's mysterious, classy, and not too cheesy. Can be a play on words.
I know there's some really creative people on the board. Hoping you all might be able to help out. Thanks in advance! |

Am I missing something, because to me this looks like he'll be hosting ghosts, ufos and cryptography? |
Hey, cryptography is spooky!

Assume he probably means cryptozoology.

Gotta be this one. |
I didn't get a vibe of trying to swindle people. Mrs. A and I do not believe in ghosts, but we've enjoyed ghost tours of New Orleans and St. Augustine. I see things like that as part of a way of enjoying local history and culture.
Do most people who go on ghost tours believe in ghosts? Kind of a silly question, I know, but I always figured that the answer is no. |
Ever listen to 'Coast to Coast'?
Lot's of people who seemingly believe in ghosts there. Not to mention the half the history channel is about ghosts and aliens nowadays. |
Ghost Dad.

Since I'm not getting much on the feedback front, I'll at least answer this question. I'd say it's about 70/30 on believing. There's still a lot of people that come to these kind of events who are skeptics and are either tagging along with friends or just along to see the inside of the old buildings. A lot of people just want to learn the history as well, which is usually part of the events. FWIW......it's not my business that's being named. |

fwiw, if I had anything I thought was remotely worth a damn I'd have offered it up. Alas, I got nothing. And having both done a haunted tour & having wife/child do a couple of others, I'd say it's at least 60/40 on believing. There's usually some theatrical elements to the "show" but that's usually in the spirit of good fun, I don't think it really impacts the belief/disbelief for the participants. |
Is the business in Kansas City?
|
Quote:
No. It's a nationwide business being created by a well-known television personality. |

So stuff like The Whole Truth or Behind the Veil is what you're looking for?
