To which streaming services do you subscribe? (PG Edition)

Just wondering. We have a pretty tech savvy bunch here, so surely there's some media streaming people here. Which non-porn sites do you pay/subscribe to use? I'll start:

Netflix
Hulu
Spotify
edit: X-Box Music

I've actually gotten Netflix and Hulu free for over a year. Spotify is the only one I actually pay for, and I've more than gotten my money's worth out of it. If I didn't get Hulu free, I wouldn't continue it, but I'd probably pay for Netflix. I had Slacker free for a year and found it was probably the best "radio" streaming service out there. Also had Pandora for a while, but wasn't blown away by the value added with a subscription. Edit - Fidatelo reminded me, I did actually get a cheap 1 year subscription to xbox music that I used for like a day, just hated the interface.

So, what else do people pay for? I'm sure there's numerous MLB/NBA people out there, but I wonder if there's something under the radar that some of us may be missing.

JonInMiddleGA 07-09-2014 09:08 AM

Netflix paid.
Spotify, only the free.

If anybody in my house uses any others -- free or paid -- off the top of my head I'm not conscious of it.

edit to add: To conform to what the thread seems to be doing, I'll add Sirius/XM to the list. I honestly don't consider it a "streaming service" per se, mostly (I suppose) because it isn't something I use via computer or mobile device. I've probably used their online version 2-3 times in 2 years, it's almost strictly a car thing via a dedicated receiver so I consider it a different category. YMMV.

I pay for Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. Until recently I had satellite radio but with my new car and new prices it's no longer worth it.

Google Play Music subscription

I used to have an Xbox Music subscription for years but the app doesn't work properly on my new phone so I switched when Google Play came to Canada a couple months ago. I don't regret it.

gstelmack 07-09-2014 09:17 AM

Netflix
Amazon Prime

Since my son is getting into sports, I may have to add MLS, NBA, and NHL to it soon.

Logan 07-09-2014 09:18 AM

Netflix and Amazon (free with Prime).

I had been trying to get my wife to pay for either full Pandora or Spotify, just so I don't have to hear her complain every time a commercial comes on. But now Amazon has the free music service too.

BillJasper 07-09-2014 09:25 AM

Netflix
Amazon
Spotify

cougarfreak 07-09-2014 09:27 AM

Netflix
Amazon
MLB TV

BYU 14 07-09-2014 09:39 AM

Netflix
Hulu Plus
Sirius (Paid for a lifetime subscription when I got in 2005)

molson 07-09-2014 09:55 AM

Netflix, Amazon Prime, WWE Network, NFL Game Rewind (if that counts).

Once I finally cut the cord on DirecTV I'll consider Hulu Plus and late-season MLB.TV offers.

Peregrine 07-09-2014 09:58 AM

Netflix
Amazon
MLB TV

Radii 07-09-2014 10:29 AM

Netflix
Amazon Prime
Twitch.TV Turbo (get rid of ads while still giving streamers ad revenue from my views)
OnGameNet (twitch channel) - HD/On Demand access to the top Korean League of Legends tournament, since I'm never up at 4-6am to watch live.

Scoobz0202 07-09-2014 10:34 AM

Netflix
Amazon Prime
Google Play Music
Mlb.tv

DanGarion 07-09-2014 11:43 AM

Pandora.

Buccaneer 07-09-2014 11:45 AM

The only thing that we stream are sports games (specifically college football and basketball) and we get that free through Xfinity.

NobodyHere 07-09-2014 12:20 PM

Amazon

Critch 07-09-2014 12:37 PM

Netflix
Amazon Prime (got cheap on a student deal)
Fox Soccer 2 Go (year subscription - moment of madness)

Izulde 07-09-2014 01:20 PM

Netflix
Hulu+

for paid

Pandora free only
WatchESPN (only the ESPN3 stuff since I don't have cable TV)

I keep getting tempted by NBA League Pass, but everything I hear says that it's a terrible service, and Las Vegas is considered a local market for something ridiculous like 5 or 6 teams anyway, so it really doesn't make sense for me.

kingfc22 07-09-2014 01:25 PM

Netflix
Rdio
MLB At Bat app

frnk55 07-09-2014 05:53 PM

Sirius
MLB
Netfilx

I did try Hulu but I could not put up with the ads.

dfisher 07-10-2014 11:29 AM

Amazon Prime
Hulu Plus - had it since December. Haven't paid for it yet because of Bing toolbar points and am already paid up thru December.
WWE Network

Subby 07-10-2014 11:45 AM

Netflix/Spotify/Amazon

We have the over-the-top FiOS package and live in a major market, so I really get more sports than I could ever watch (ESPN/Comcast/NBCSN plus the league networks). Otherwise, I would definitely look at stuff like League Pass, etc..

Scarecrow 07-10-2014 11:54 AM

Paying
MLB At Bat
Netflix
Sirius (Mostly Music plan + Internet Radio)

Free
Amazon Music (with Prime)
iTunes Radio
Pandora (paid for years till they went unlimited free)

Young Drachma 07-10-2014 01:17 PM

Spotify
Amazon Prime
Netflix
Rdio
XBox360

Mizzou B-ball fan 07-10-2014 01:31 PM

Netflix
Pandora (pay for commercial unlimited for my business)

SplitPersonality1 07-10-2014 10:16 PM

Netflix - watch it daily
Hulu - not sure why I still have it. We very rarely watch it
Rhapsody
NFL Game Rewind

PilotMan 07-10-2014 10:28 PM

Netflix
Hulu
MLB TV
NFL Rewind
WWE Network

General Mike 07-10-2014 10:29 PM

WWE Network

korme 07-11-2014 01:20 PM

Thinking about cutting cable altogether and just riding with Netflix and the NBA package

oykib 07-11-2014 02:11 PM

Netflix
Spotify (premium)
Hulu Plus (which I should switch to Crunchroll)
Amazon Prime

Edit:

I forgot MLB.tv (just like I do every March when I forget to cancel it)
Last year I got the DirectTV football package with Madden 25. I'll probably renew that if there's an option.

ISiddiqui 07-11-2014 02:51 PM

Netflix
Amazon Prime
Hulu Plus
MLB.tv

Thinking of getting MLS Live

I don't have cable anymore, so I need streaming to watch most sports. And Hulu Plus is a good backup for broadcast channel shows when the weather is bad and it messes up the antenna signal (I have a Tivo for recording broadcast channel shows).

Oh, for the free stuff:
WatchESPN (well, I pay for Comcast internet, I didn't realize ESPN3 comes with that)
Spotify
Pandora (at times)
TuneIn Radio

Marc Vaughan 07-14-2014 10:20 AM

Netflix
Hulu
Amazon Prime (although I only use it for free delivery)
Brighton and Hove Albion (subscription service for streaming matches/commentary from UK)

Thats my lot presently - tbh I have no idea why we're bothering with Hulu, we're paying for the priviledge of streaming adverts ...

On the 'free' front:

Pandora (although less than I used to)
WatchESPN (for soccer)
NBCLive (for soccer)

I would use if they worked ever:
iTunes radio

I subscribe to Hulu for the convenience of watching it on my AppleTV but the fact that you have to suffer through ads really irks me.
