Goin' down to South Park: Season 18 discussion (contains spoilers)

The kids should be graduating college, but they are still stuck in 4th grade. Season 18 starts a week from tonight. No word yet on the topic for the season opening episode.

Here's a teaser for the season opener:

Comey 09-21-2014 07:43 PM

Technically, they would have graduated in season 12, no? Eight years for school, four for college? If this played true to form, they'd be what...26-27?

Solid start to the season. Here's the press release for this week's episode:

cartman 09-30-2014 06:42 PM

Looks like we might get a bunch of Randy in this episode. Trailer has a slight NSFW part.

cartman 10-02-2014 10:08 AM

Thought that was a pretty solid episode last night. I almost lost it when the mice were fed gluten and the effects kicked in.

NEW YORK, October 6, 2014 – The state of one’s gender is in question on an all-new episode of “South Park” titled “The Cissy,” premiering Wednesday, October 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

cartman 10-09-2014 08:44 AM

It is interesting that they are tying the episodes together this season. In years past, except when they had a multi-part episode (Imaginationland, Coon and Friends, Brack Friday), each episode was in its own silo.

LOL @ Cartman becoming 'transginger'

Julio Riddols 10-09-2014 09:12 AM

I thought that was an interesting thing too, kind of self contained stories but with call backs to prior events, something the show hasn't really done much of. I think I like it. Its been a decent season so far. I'm excited to see this third episode, is it up on hulu already?

I think the confession scene with Randy and Stan is South Park Hall of Fame material.

cartman 10-21-2014 06:05 PM

Thought that was another solid episode last week. I liked that they brought back Nathan and Mimsy. The Matthew McConaughey spoofs were awesome.

No new episode this week. Next new one is on the 29th.

timmae 10-21-2014 08:34 PM

Timmae!!

This has potential to be the best episode of the season.

Julio Riddols 11-14-2014 12:06 AM

Gotta say, finally got to see the episode, and it was outstanding. I laughed out loud a few times, loved every second of it. Right up there with the best of the best IMO.

Suicane75 11-14-2014 12:21 AM

Loving this season with all my heart, and last nights may have been the best of the bunch.

cartman 11-19-2014 09:13 PM

Randy is awesome. I just about lost it there

Julio Riddols 11-20-2014 11:37 PM

Last 2 episodes have been great now. I've really enjoyed this season.

Izulde 11-21-2014 12:48 AM

This episode was just so wrong on so many levels. I still laughed, though. Heard about it because one of my relatives tagged me in a screencap on FB and said I was on South Park this week.
