Combine accuracy question

If you set your Combine Accuracy to 100, it's effect is obvious: Combine results have everything to do with how high a player should be drafted.
And if you set it to 1, the combine factors little into his draft position.
But I have a few questions:

1. While this setting applies for my (user) team, does it apply for the computer teams as well?

2. If you use an extremely low Combine setting does it mean more high-round busts and more late-round gems by all teams, since teams have little tangible information on which to judge their potential selections?

3. It appears the only information we have available to us as players is the Combine info. So does a very low setting just make the whole draft a complete crapshoot?

4. Is there a way other than the Combine from which to gain information on a prospect?

Thanks!

Well, it's not just the combine info. You have the player's bars (as seen by your scout), the player's grade, and for a select few, interview data (scout impression, intelligence, narrowed bars...)

I don't know the answers to the other questions as I've never played SP. I'm not too sure how you could tell, actually. It depends on if their drafting logic is driven by combines/scouts/etc or not. I would guess it'd be easier if that were not the case, i.e, no effect on computer teams with this setting.

2. It means more randomness, which can include more booms and busts, however each draft will be different depending on how the dice rolls play out.

3. It appears the only information we have available to us as players is the Combine info. So does a very low setting just make the whole draft a complete crapshoot? More of a crapshoot, yes, but you have the bars to look at also. A low combine accuracy means you should spend more time focusing on what the bars are telling you.

4. Is there a way other than the Combine from which to gain information on a prospect? Somewhat. Intelligence plays a role in a few different positions but in many different ways (like QBs and hidden avoid interceptions). Generally bars and combines are enough for most analysis. Aston covered the rest.

I feel pretty certain in my answers, though I think we'd need Jim to say for sure how things work and I don't believe he's willing to say exactly how it all works.
