Bought a new computer
 

Hey all,

Over the past few weeks/months, there have been several threads about people looking into new computers...After my tax refund check came in, I just couldn't resist...Believe it or not (trust me I hate Best Buy so this was a shock) The new vpr matrix system is pretty nice...A quick rundown:

Pentium 4 3.06 GHz
512 MB DDR RAM
2- 120 GB hard drives
Ge Force 4 Ti graphics
DVD-RW drive
Separate DVD drive
Sound Blaster Audigy

Not too bad for $1800...now the plan is to work the hell out of it for the 14 days I would have to return it...But I really think this may be a solid system...Most user reviews were in the 4 to 4.5/5 range so so far so good...Just in case anyone else is looking...feel free to ask :)

Pretty good buy there .

No monitor, but I figure I can get by w/ my existing one for a while..the only thing I would have wanted is a bit more ram, but thats a do-it-yourself 10 minute project and still a bargain for the price...
