Monster QB?

I'm in the rather privileged position of drafting 1.1 with this player in the draft class:

QB
6-2, 218 lbs
Dash = 4.42
Sole = 54
Strg = 20
Agil = 6.94
BJmp = 9-06
PSpec = 70
Dev = 39%
Formations = 10
Volatility = 7

Intelligence = 25

Now he looks a monster, should I be worried by the blue BJmp and lower SPec?

The next QB in the draft is not bad either
6-1, 206 lbs
Dash = 4.48
Sole = 39
Strg = 16
Agil = 7.47
BJmp = 8-10
PSpec = 83
Dev = 38%
Formations = 9
Volatility = 18

Bars or it didn't happen.

I mean there's no way you're not drafting him at 1.1

ezlee2 05-10-2016 07:11 PM

Looks like a stud to me

Julio Riddols 05-10-2016 09:39 PM

A GM that doesn't draft this guy had better trade the pick for a kings ransom or draft a comparably god like player at another prestige position.

garion333 05-11-2016 06:31 AM

Even if that guy drops off a cliff he still looks like he'll end up rated in the 50's.

I'm not sure if this helps, but here is mine.

I traded a lot of picks to get third overall (I was in the middlefield and the two teams above me had superb QBs already). Needless to say, he won the Superbowl in his second season, 55-31 vs. the Bengals. He peaked at 92 in his ninth season I think. Bears Offence is still one of the top-scorers in the league.

So yes, if your QB happens to be called Jay Cutler (Sam Bradford), draft this guy. If he doesn't, you could get yourself an ungodly amount of picks.

It was a comment made in jest; the point was that it was incomplete to attempt to evaluate a player only by reference to his combines.

chrisjohns726 05-11-2016 04:52 PM

I say draft him.

alrith72 05-13-2016 07:41 AM

I say trade the pick to me.......

marc_rdfl 05-19-2016 01:10 AM

He came out as 40/87 straight after the draft

Well? Did you draft him or did someone else?

marc_rdfl 05-23-2016 06:48 AM

Oh, I drafted him, very pleased.

Now the next question is start him or sit him?

Dutch 05-23-2016 07:19 AM

Some questions you need to walk the dog on.

Think FOF, not NFL.

Pros of starting: Gains experience points
Cons of starting: Might get hurt

What other pros and cons are there?

garion333 05-23-2016 01:17 PM

Pro: Sooner he develops, sooner you take over the world.

Julio Riddols 05-23-2016 05:02 PM

Start him. His floor is 40 OVR.

MIJB#19 05-26-2016 03:25 PM

Start him, give the kid a chance to gain 30-40 points of experience In his first season.

marc_rdfl 05-26-2016 04:29 PM

He's 48/87 post TC. The only bar that's awful is timing which is 4/6. SR is 74/74

Julio Riddols 05-26-2016 10:12 PM

The low timing bar seems to be a good thing.

aston217 05-27-2016 05:53 PM

Timing: good in a comedian. Bad in a franchise quarterback.

The true greats don't really know when to throw it, anyway. They just throw it!
