FOF 8 issues with defensive Game Plan
 

Looks like I'm unable to set defensive Game Plan I 'd like. I load defensive GP, edit, save, confirm and when i go back to the field I've not loaded my 12 plays but 12 totally different plays. That's hurts.

Under Controls - Options - Edit Single Player Options do you have Coaches Reset Game Plan Prior to each game checked?

No, I don't. Indeed offensive game plan is working properly

I've had this happen acouple times, check the last 3 slots on the Red Zone Defence they will be empty if it doesn't load properly. I just repopulate them and move on.

Thanks but every slots is filled properly. I'm sure because I've double checked and, in any case, game prevent to start to sim the week if GP is not set properly.

Thanks to all of you guys, nice community, but frankly I'm beginning to despair I could fix this issue.

OK, I will try and go more specific. Those are my settings

And this is my defensive GP, ready to go. Please note 12 plays in use. I click on Confirm button at the bottom right.

But, when I go to sim the game, those are defensive plays available to me. A different set! :banghead: Any idea will be really appreciated.

Try changing the "Limit Choices When Calling Every Play" option to yes. That affects what plays are available in each situation and I *believe* if it is yes then the universe for each play call is limited to what you have in your game plan for that situation.

Thanks but it doesn't work. Anyway, I don't want to be restricted when I call my plays that is (IMHO, of course) one of most involving part of the game

It really doesn't work? That's what I would've thought the issue was, too. If indeed it doesn't, it's time to email support

Did it. Till now they're telling me to read help file and asking how I'm simulating games. I will keep you uptodate.

I think this fellow FOFer is having the same issue maybe?

I think also that I am having this defense issue. I can't seem to input my own plays into the single player defensive playcalling in a game. Every time it is some random list of 12 plays that I didn't select for my game plan.

I did notice that if I automate playcalling, plays that are not on the 'random' list are often called. I wish I could solve this problem: defense is my favorite part of the game...

I've started several new careers and have found that I cannot, under any circumstances, include my own set of defensive play options during a game (playing single player and calling my own plays actively, during the game, with the scoreboard).

Are other people having this issue? I'd love some feedback...

The problem is encountered in single player mode. The defensive plays that I select do not show-up in the game when I am trying to call defensive plays. It seems that I get some other random list of 12 options to choose from when calling a defensive play.

Can you help me out? What is going on?

I have not received a response. Is there anything that can be done? It is a real bummer to not be able to call plays on defense...
