Absolutely no question about this one. Get Winning Eleven 6, bar none the best there is.
This one, needs no discussion. Winning Eleven all the way.

Seriously, as for an actual you as the players game, I would consider it far and away the best sports game around, on any console or PC.
Man I love that game. :) |
i like going up the leagues...if you want some great players cheap, talk to me...there is one guy on the belgium squad for cheap who is amazing
That Belgian Player is name Emile Mpenza.... He is great next to Raul in my Division 2 Real Madrid Squad... I always buy Mpenza as soon as I have the loot to do so!
Is Pro Evolution Soccer 2 available on PS2 ? If yes, then that's the game you'd want !
PES2 = Winning Eleven Six. Same game. Everyone who's posted above is spot on. PES2 is so far ahead of FIFA it isn't even funny.
Personally, I find that most of the best 'free' players are either among the eclectic bunches that you get after winning Master League or among the allstar teams. Eternal England in particular has a lot of good freebies. |
ISS Pro rocks imho :D
Does winning 11 have a franchise mode?
Yep. It's called "Master League". You start out with a team of complete incompetents, the West Brom of the Third Division, and you have to work your way up the ranks to win the First Division by making clever signings.
